Born Noriaki Kubo in Hiroshima prefecture, Japan, Kubo-sensei started drawing manga in high school. In 2002, Bleach was finally published and began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump. It instantly became a hit and is still being run today with over 210 chapters and no signs of ending. It has also inspired a hit anime series that is currently over 60 episodes long. Tite actually does the character deign for the anime, which is extremely rare for a manga-ka, who usually just oversees it.
